Lindbergh Bay named after the famous American aviator, Charles A. Lindbergh, also known as Emerald Beach, is a picturesque beach near the airport, located at Emerald Beach Resort. Palm trees and sea grape trees line the shore and provide natural shade. Typically sparsely populated, it is a great beach for laying back and relaxing. The water is usually very calm; perfect for swimming, wading or floating along. The shoreline provides for pleasant strolls. The Emerald Beach Resort offers an open air beach front bar for enjoying the trade winds and a refreshing drink. The resort restaurant is available for having a nice lunch or grabbing a quick snack. A water sports booth offers kayaks, snorkeling, diving, paddle boats & windsurfers among other fun activities.

Lindbergh Bay is in close proximity to the airport and a short drive from downtown Charlotte Amalie

Green Cay st croix

Pristine white sandy beach located on the East end of St Thomas, great for relaxing and enjoying water sports.Surrounded by palm lined walkways, restaurant, bar, swimming pool and luxury accommodations, the beach is accessible to the public through a public access road just past the Ritz Carlton Resort’s main entrance. The beach is typically quiet, great for just laying back and enjoying the scenery and perfect weather. The water is usually very calm and there is typically a nice breeze. A shallow rocky ledge and reefs on the right side offer good snorkeling as sea grass in some areas of the water is common.

The resort’s watersports activities desk offers a range of options from kayaking to windsurfing.Life saving equipment is available through the activities concession and the resort’s security department. Food and drinks are available at the Sails restaurant. Pelican Cove Beach boasts 1,200 feet of white sandy beach on the north shore of St. Croix, West of Christiansted.

The palm-fringed, long stretch of beach has plenty of room for you to take a leisurely walk, go for a jog, build a sandcastle with your kids, or let the sound of the waves lull you to sleep as you relax in a lounge chair.

Snorkel the marine phenomenon known as long reef, located just a few yards off shore – Watch for undertow in rough seas

Green Cay st croix

Located on the northeast shore of St Croix, US Virgin Islands, Green Cay beach is a beautiful white sandy beach lined with coconut palms. There is a gentle slope from the Tamarind Reef Resort to the beach area. The shoreline is rocky and made up of natural tidal pools except for a small area at the east end of the beach allowing for bathing entry.

The beach is known for its tranquil setting, mix of sun and shade and child-friendly wading area. Thatched sun huts and Hammocks for relaxing. There’s also an excellent snorkeling reef a few feet offshore that runs parallel to the beach – equipped with resting buoys for your convenience.

Kayaks, stand-up paddleboards and snorkeling gear are provided to resort guests, free of charge.

The waters are generally calm with minimal tides elevating 1 to 2 feet.

No lifeguard on duty, however, life rings are available at either end of the beach and first aid kit is available at the beach hut during the day and hotel security in the evenings.
